A Pomerol red wine of great class
The property
Located among the most beautiful crus of its appellation, the Chteau Vray Croix de Gay is in line with the very beautiful references of Pomerol, on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Former winemaker of Ptrus, Jean-Claude Berrouet joined the technical teams of the Chteau in 2013 as a consulting oenologist.
The vineyard
With a vineyard of 3.67 ha of exceptional terroir, Chteau Vray Croix de Gay is part of the crus of the highly renowned Pomerol appellation whose potential has been brilliantly revealed in recent years by developing its own style.
The strength of Chteau Vray Croix de Gay lies in its vineyard. Located in the heart of the gravel plateau of Pomerol, on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region, the 9 plots subdivided into micro plots are spread over 2 vineyards, one adjoining Chteau La Fleur behind Ptrus and the other located in front of Chteau Trotanoy.
Blend
Merlot and cabernet franc.
