Mt Yengo Adelaide Hills Shiraz 2020

A deep crimson inky red color, it is filled with aromas and flavors of smoked peppercorn bacon, mint, red berries and raspberry. A beautiful example of cool climate Syrah. The tannins are beautifully integrated and while it sees 30% new oak for a short time, this only enhances those qualities and never gets in the way. The wine has more than enough lift and acidity to make it perfect with all sorts of Autumnal flavors. A truly surprising wine.
