The rarest whisper from Domaine Rouchier\’s tiny 1.5-hectare estate: Puat, a co-harvest and co-vinification of 80% Syrah and 20% Chasselas fermented together in old oak. The white grapes bring ethereal floral character and freshness to temper the Syrah\’s sunny powerwhite pepper, mint, fresh herbs, crushed peppercorns, and perfumed raspberry emerge from natural winemaking without added sulfur. Organic since 2010 and fully biodynamic by 2013, with only 0.14 hectares of this cuve produced.
