Perched high in the eastern Ribera, La Coronela is a single parcel of Tinto Fino that defies the usual assumptionsno heavy oak, no oversized fruit, no blockbuster ambition. Las Pedreras is part of a new generation pushing the regions boundaries inward rather than outward, toward freshness, clarity, and detail.

The 2022 vintage is grown at elevation on limestone-rich soils, and you feel itnot through tasting notes, but through structure, movement, and light. Its a wine that holds its power in reserve. The fruit is there, but dialed back. The tannins are fine but firm. It reads more Burgundian in frame than traditionally Ribera in scale.

La Coronela doesnt chase the old Ribera playbook. It rewrites itquietly, precisely, and with confidence in its own voice.
