The 2020 Barbaresco is impressive. It shows a bit more edginess in its tannin, both because it is younger, but also because of the vintage. Even so there\’s terrific energy driving the red-toned fruit, citrus and floral notes. A whole range of floral and earthy tones resonate on the substantial finish. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
