JD 90pts
Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Crianza is a full-bodied Tempranillo from a blend of vineyard sites and is quite refined in style. A smooth texture of dark fresh fruit is well-balanced but still savory in balsamic and leather, with powerfully rustic, salty tannins. Drink now and over the next 5-7 years.
Winery Notes
Clean and brilliant with an attractive purple hue and a violet rim. Black fruit aromas such as blackberries and blackcurrants come to the fore. Subtle floral notes, such as violets, come through with hints of liquorice, a characteristic trait of the Tempranillo grape. Also roasted coffee-bean notes emerge, together with touches of vanilla brought by the wine\’s ageing in barrel. A fresh, fruity and full entry on the palate with well-integrated acidity. Length of flavour is medium to long, with a creamy, sweet sensation coming from the wine\’s ageing in oak.
