The nose seems pink and purple heather and violets, carnation, fuchsia and rose; marshmallows, pink wafers, blackcurrant jam and Maoams. The palate has tutti frutti, blue raspberry sweets and a lively citric fizz (bitter lemon or a classic champagne cocktail) then the finish has suggestions of leather, wood and lime peel. The reduced nose is still wonderfully perfumed elderflower and lily, physalis, Turkish Delight and sandalwood and rose joss sticks. The palate now gets pink gin and tonic, grown up Haribos and a mouth-drying finish of redcurrants, custard and apple sweets and chilli jam. An absolute treat to lift the soul.
