Leafy, lemony and lovely

The nose was leafy and sweet, complex and lovely herbs, elderflower, pears, rhubarb, foamy bananas, pink wafers, lemon and ginger tea, liquorice and mature oak. The palates pleasing acidity included brambles, Tangfastics, lemon meringue pie and lime sorbet; also ginger and cumin spice, oaky flavours and chewy sweetness to round it off. The reduced nose offered crushed nettles, green hops, rosemary, thyme, unripe banana and peppermint with Refreshers, sherbet lemons and buttered popcorn sweetness. The palate now had oat biscuits dipped in lemon icing and a finish that was delightfully lip-smacking and citric pineapple and passion fruit sorbet, orange zest, tarragon and oak.
