Winemaker Notes

The cold soak and short-oak contact yield floral notes of Acacia and dried orange peel. They commingle with musque meln in the aromatics and flavors of green apple, ripe pear, vanilla, honeycomb and hay on the palate.

The 2020 Predicador Blanco comes from a cooler year and was produced with a blend of 38% Viura, 38% Malvasa and 24% Garnacha Blanca that fermented in barrel where the wine matured for 10 months. The wine feels fresh and balanced, with more of everything compared to the 2019 I tasted next to it. It\’s floral and fresh and has nice volume and texture with rich flavors and a long, dry finish.
