Azelia Barolo 2020

Azelia Barolo has been remarkably consistent and ahead of its time for generations. The wine has always been organically farmed, vinified with native yeasts and aged in large, neutral oak barrels there is nothing to peel back to reveal its character. The fruit comes from estate vineyards in Castglione Falletto where Tortonian soils present a perfumed, round and soft profile; and from Serralunga dAlba where Helvetian limestone provides structure and ageworthiness. The combination lends a seductive grip, classic perfume and approachability.
